Starowitz Becomes Third Recruit of the 2024 Class

On November 14th, Emma Starowitz committed to the Genesee Women's Soccer team for the 2024 season. Emma is a 5'2" dynamite forward and started 4 years for the Byron-Bergen High School Varsity girls' soccer team. Starowitz is a Genesee Region Allstar for the last three years for soccer, as well as for track for one year and swim for one year. She has 52 career goals and 42 career assists. While playing for her school, her team has won the Sectional Championship three years and they have gone to states for two of those years. Emma also played volleyball for her school and was on Honor Roll. She plans to be a Nurse after completing her degree at GCC.

"I'm so excited for Emma to be a part of this team and we know she will be a tremendous help. She also has met a lot of the girls and fit in perfectly," stated Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt.

Jeff and Macy have been meeting with a lot of recruits and have some more commitments coming up. The Cougars ended their 2023 season with a 9-5-1 record. If you are interested in trying out for next year's 2024 Genesee Cougars, please email Jeff Reyngoudt at jcreyngoudt@genesee.edu.
