On February 2nd, Ruby Hoyt committed to the Genesee Women's Soccer team for the 2023 season. Ruby is a 5'4" offensive midfielder and played two years for the Brockport High School Varsity girls' soccer team. Hoyt attributed 4 goals and 1 assist for her team. She also plays with the Greece Cobras club team, where she is teammates with Grace Devine, who just signed with the Cougars. Ruby also is a part of ODP in Western New York and is an Excelsior Honor Roll student on top of it all.
"Ruby is a smart, technical player and has an excessive amount of potential to be a leading goal-scorer and playmaker. She is coachable, level-headed, and super quick. She is an exciting contribution to the team this coming fall", stated Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt.
Jeff, Macy, and Kelly have been working hard to add more great additions to the team. The Cougars ended their 2022 season with a 10-4-2 record and competed at the National Tournament, finishing 4th in the country.
