Genesee Signs Their Fourth Women's Soccer Recruit

Devine signs with Genesee

Genesee Women's Soccer signed their fourth recruit of the year, Grace Devine, on January 27th. Grace is a 5'5" defensive midfielder and a varsity starter for Greece Athena High School girls' soccer team. She also plays with the Greece Cobras club team. Devine was awarded the Spirit Award and is on High Honor Roll. She will be pursuing a major in Drug and Alcohol Abuse studies while attending GCC and plans to become a Substance Abuse Counselor in the future.

"Grace is a strong, hard-working defensive midfielder and has that edge needed for college soccer. She is feisty and will no doubt make an impact on our team this coming fall", stated Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt. Reyngoudt also stated that Grace's style of play reminds him of Paige Derisley, who played defensive mid for the Cougars this fall and took the team to the National Tournament.

Jeff, Macy, and Kelly have been working hard to add more great additions to the team. They will be signing more players in the coming months and are excited about next season's incoming class. The Cougars ended their 2022 season with a 10-4-2 record and competed at the National Tournament, finishing 4th in the country.
