HERKIMER, NY... The Genesee Community College Women's Soccer team will advance to the NJCAA DIII Women's Soccer National Championship Semifinals with a win over (5) Ocean County College. The quarterfinal matchup went scoreless through regulation and two overtime periods. In penalty kicks, Genesee would go 4-2 thanks to goals from Chloe Barrett, Jenna Leverson, Carly Barrett, and Paige Derisley. Kellie Brewer was brilliant in goal, saving 13 shots throughout the match and only allowing two penalty kick goals. 

4-seed Genesee will go head-to-head with 1-seed Dallas College-Brookhaven on Friday, November 11, at 4:00pm in Herkimer with a trip to the NJCAA National Championship on the line.
