Genesee signed their first lacrosse recruit for the 2024 season, Shelby Edwards, on May12th. Shelby is a 5'1" goalie and played lacrosse for the Varsity Girls team at Williamsville SouthHigh School. Edwards was also an exceptional goalie in Field Hockey for her high school as well. She is a merit/honor roll student too.

"We're excited to have Shelby and are building our team around her" stated Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt. The cougars finished fourth in the country after the 2022 season, making it to the National Tournament, and are hoping to make an appearance again this coming season.
