BATAVIA, NY... Genesee virtually signed another lacrosse player for the 2021 season, Hayleih Kennedy. Hayleih is from Lakeshore High School and has been playing lacrosse since she was in 7th grade. She also ran Cross Country and swam. Kennedy has appeared on Honor Roll and is planning on majoring in Education. She hopes to be a kindergarten teacher.

Hayleih was put on our radar once Hannah John and Vanessa Cooper, also lacrosse signees, brought her to Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt's attention. "When Hannah and Vanessa told me about Hayleih, I was immediately excited. Often times when our recruits mention another player, it's usually a good sign, because friendships make for great team chemistry!" Hayleih is one of many very strong recruits for the Genesee Cougars upcoming season. "Last year we weren't able to showcase the talent we had on our team, due to Covid-19. We're hoping that this year will be different", says Assistant Coach Macy Reyngoudt. The Cougars also have a solid sophomore class returning from last year as well.
