BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women’s lacrosse team will be the #3 seed in this coming weekend’s NJCAA Region III Final Four, hosted at Onondaga Community College.

The Cougars (6-4) will play the #2 Monroe Community College Tribunes (6-4) at 1pm Saturday, May 11 at Wilbur Field at Lazer Stadium in Syracuse, NY. The winner of the Genesee and Monroe game will take on the winner of the Onondaga/Erie game on Sunday afternoon.

Genesee and Monroe faced-off during the regular season with the Tribunes getting the 20-14 win on April 30. Rachel Ladd scored five goals on the afternoon. Hannah Kirisits scored four goals and an assist. Bri Heers and Ashley Barclay also scored for Genesee, with Heers getting four assists.
