Cougars Lose Conference Game vs Jamestown

BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team suffered a 61-51 loss to the Jamestown Community College Jayhawks on Wednesday night. The loss puts the Cougars' record to 16-10 on the season and 4-5 in conference play.

Erina Ishiguro led the way offensively for the Cougars with 10 points with four rebounds. TaLia Burgess scored nine points and collected 11 rebounds and two assists. Grace McComb led the team with four assists to go along with her nine points and four rebounds.

Genesee returns home for their regular season finale on Saturday, February 23 as they host the Mercyhurst Northeast Saints at 1 pm. The Cougars will also be honoring their sophomore athletes. The game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
