Genesee Women's Swimming just signed their second recruit of the year, Alison Jorolemon, on February 9th. Alison is a mid-distance and individual medley swimmer. She has also swam the 100 breaststroke at a 1.22.06, the 100 butterfly at a 1.21.8, and the 100 freestyle at a 1.14.12. She is captain of her high school team and was on the team when Weedsport Swimming won sectionals 2 years in a row. Jorolemon has also appeared on High Honor Roll. Alison plans to major in Social Work.

Head Coach, Jeff Reyngoudt, and his assistant, Macy Reyngoudt, met with Alison and her family at the end of January. "Macy and I immediately felt a connection with Alison and her family. After talking with them more, we knew we wanted her and that she would be a great addition to our team", said Head Coach Jeff.

Jeff and Macy are getting the ball rolling when it comes to recruiting for the 2021-2022 season. They have been working hard speaking to 2021 prospects and will be signing more swimmers in the coming months. They are excited about next year's incoming class and have high hopes for the team to exceed people's expectations. The Cougars season is scheduled to swim this spring. Their first virtual meet is on March 1st against Erie. If you are interested in trying out for next year's 2021 Genesee Cougars, please email Jeff Reyngoudt at jcreyngoudt@genesee.edu.
