Genesee Men's Swimming just signed their first recruit of the year, Zack Conrad, on December 30th. Zack is a Butterfly and Individual Medley swimmer. He has been swimming for the Attica Varsity Boys Team for 5 years and is captain this year. His best 100-yard butterfly time is a 1:12 and his fastest 200-yard IM is a 2:31. He is also the current holder of the 200 Medley Relay record at his high school with a butterfly split time of .27 seconds and the overall time was a 1:48.52. Conrad has been awarded Scholar Athlete for all 4 years of high school and has also appeared on High Honor Roll. Zack also plays soccer and tennis for his school, where he is the Captain of both sports teams and was a League All-Star for soccer this past season. He is currently the President of the "Best Buddies" Club at his school, which is an organization with the sole purpose of inclusivity. Zack plans to major in General Studies.

Zack is joining the Genesee Cougar's at a perfect time. Last season, was Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt's first year coaching and had already made tremendous strides with the team. He hopes to build a swim team around Zack and continue to be a force at Regionals and Nationals. "Zack is our first male signee of the year and we are working hard to make sure he has a strong team to swim with. We're excited to have another Attica swimmer and know he will do great", said Jeff. Last season, Tyler Stachowiak and Brandon Cutter swam for the Cougars and were also Attica Alum.

Jeff and assistant coach, Macy Reyngoudt, are continuing to recruit for the 2021-2022 season. They have been speaking to many 2021 prospects and will be signing more swimmers in the upcoming months.
