This was Head Coach, Jeff Reyngoudt, and Assistant Coach, Macy Reyngoudt's first season with the Genesee swimmers so they only had one year with these two athletes. "I came into this program knowing little about the sport of swimming and the sophomores on this team taught me more than I could have ever imagined. They truly were some of the best guys I have ever known or had the privilege to coach. We are going to miss Ethan and Hunter, but we know they will exceed all our expectations at Medaille. We're so proud of them." says Jeff. Reyngoudt also mentions that Heim took on a captain role and put in extra hours when it came to setting up the pool for meets and lifeguarding open sessions. "Ethan has the ability to be a strong leader and has made me a better coach and person. I know he will carry himself well in his future and I'm thankful for knowing him, as well as Hunter", stated Reyngoudt.

Not only are these two men great swimmers but, they are also great people. The Athletic Department here at Genesee is so extremely proud of them and they will be greatly missed. We are so excited that Ethan Heim and Hunter Camacho decided to commit to Medaille College!
