A pair of Genesee Community College softball players was named to the 2018 Western New York Athletic Conference's All-Conference Team.

Shiori Ubukata and Sam Tatarski were both selected to the second team as both had exceptional seasons for the Cougars by finishing either at the top of the team statistics or second in more than 10 collective categories.

Ubukata led Genesee in batting average, hits, runs and stolen bases. She finished second on the team slugging percentage (4.17) and in on-base percentage (.400). In addition to her .375 batting average that was good enough for Region-III's top-40. In the field, she had a team-high 39 assists that put her in the region's top-20 for that category.

Tatarski led the team in home runs and slugging percentage (.446) and was second on the team in runs, RBI, and hits and was just a pair behind team hit-leader Ubukata. She also had a team-high 24 strikeouts when she was on the mound to go with a 6.71 ERA.
