BATAVIA, NY… The nationally-ranked Genesee Community College men's soccer team earned a 4-1 win over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in the NJCAA Region III Division III Pool A Semifinals Wednesday afternoon.  

Matheus Spina scored the first three goals for the Cougars in the contest. Spike Pope scored to make it 4-1 after a Fulton-Montgomery Goal. Augusto Fernandez made six saves in net for Genesee.  

Genesee will be hosting the Region III Division III Championships on Sunday, October 31. Genesee will play Onondaga CC at 11 am in Pool A and the Pool B Championship game will begin at 1:30 pm.
