Men's Lacrosse Winning Streak Continues

BATAVIA, NY… The #5 Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team defeated the Herkimer College Generals 23-6 on Friday night to improve their record to 6-3 on the season. The win gave the Cougars their third consecutive victory, and fifth in their last six games. 

Christian LeFeuvre scored five goals and dished out three assists to lead the way offensively for Genesee. James Reif scored four goals. Garret Walker had a hat trick and had two assists. Evan Belter scored a goal and had five assists. Landen Johnson, Xander Huff, Luke Smeader, Griffin Utz, Brian Freeman, Teegan Henry, Bryce Hand, and Amare Staton all scored for the Cougars. 

Drew Helms and Liam Regan split time between the pipes, with Helms making seven saves, and Regan stopping four saves. Luke Smeader went 24/26 from the faceoff dot, and Xander Huff went two for two from the dot. 

Genesee will host the College of DuPage on Thursday, April 18 at 4pm in the regular season home finale.
