Offense Carries Genesee to Road Win at Hudson Valley

TROY, NY. – The no.6 Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team dominated the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings and went on to score the NJCAA Region 3 lacrosse contest Wednesday afternoon by the final score of 27-5.

The Cougars (2-2) were on the offensive side of the field for much of the contest as they led 4-1 after the first, 12-3 at halftime, 18-4 after three, and the final being 27-5. Jason Chiodo had 3 goals and added 12 assists for a total of 15 points.

Kyle Isaacs had 5 goals and five assists. Austin Palmer scored four goals and two assists. Zach Wade had four goals and added an assist. Samuel Koczwara had three goals. Dante David scored two goals and added an assist. Other goal scorers included Konnor Sunday, Timothy Martino, and Jacob Hicks. Henry Reber added an assist for Genesee.  

Lincoln Potter, Brandon Moore, Jalen Lee, Max Henchbarger, and Cody Chanthavong all split time between the pipes for the Cougars.

Genesee is right back on the field on Saturday afternoon as they host reigning NJCAA National Champions Onondaga Community College Lazers at 1 pm.
