Men’s Basketball Earns Comeback Win at Finger Lakes

CANANDAIGUA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's basketball team earned their second straight victory Thursday night, with an 84-72 win over Finger Lakes Community College.  

 

Jo'El King had a team-high 21 points to lead the scoring for the blue and gold. 18 of King's 21 points came from behind the arch. CJ McCullum scored 16 points, while both Wayne Longmore and Tyler Smith scored 11 points.  

 

The Cougars were down by seven points entering the second half, but Genesee roared back, scoring 49 points to outpace the Lakers by 12 points for their second straight win.  

 

Genesee will continue their road trip on Saturday, November 18 with a noon tip off at Tompkins Cortland CC.
