Genesee Drops Non-Conference Game to Bobcats

BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's basketball team dropped a close game to the Bryant & Stratton College of Buffalo Bobcats 85-75 on Sunday afternoon inside the Anthony T Zambito Gymnasium.  The Cougars record moves to 12-13 on the season with a 3-5 record in conference play.

Jarett Haines scored a team-high 17 points for the third consecutive game. Souleymane Gueye scored 16 points and collected eight rebounds. Jamir Cheek scored 13 points. Kevin Major scored 14 points including three three-point shots that were key in the Cougars late game charge. Javin Williams scored 12 points for the Cougars.

Genesee will try to end their four-game skid on Wednesday night as they return to conference action as the Jamestown Community College Jayhawks come to Batavia. Tip-Off is scheduled for 7:30pm and the game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
