Cougars keep Panthers scoreless

Batavia, NY - The Genesee Cougars Baseball team hosted Tompkins Cortland Panthers in a double header matchup this past saturday. In a dominant showing, the Cougars took out the Panthers 10-0 in both games. 

For the cougars, a batting excellence was shown from the likes of Patricio Garcia, who had two hits and two runs in the first game, as well as two RBI's. Anthony Brotz had 3 runs in game one. Other runs came from Wyatt Argentieri, Rion Kojima, Cody Costello, Brian Tisa and Dallas Vaughn

Julian Jones faced 10 batters, had 3 strike outs and only allowed 2 hits. 

In game two, the Cougars scored three time in the 2nd inning, twice in the 3rd, one in the 4th and four in the 6th. 

They look to keep their streak going against Tompkins Cortland as they head to the Panthers home turf for an away double header on Monday, May 6th at 2:00 PM.
