Pitching highlighted Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader vs. Genesee. David Dubray opened with 2 scoreless innings, striking out 2. Lucas Mackey pitched 4 outstanding innings, allowing only 1 earned run. Yojairo Juan paced the Cannoneers offense with a double, a triple, and 2 runs scored. Will Cole provided the lone RBI with a base hit. The Cannoneers would go on to lose a heartbreaker as Genesee walked the game off in the bottom of the 7th inning.
