The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team fell to 1-2 on the season with a road loss to Genesee Community College Friday. The 13-0 loss is the second straight for the Panthers after their season-opening win. Genesee is 4-0 on the season.

The Panthers never got things going on Friday, with Genesee taking control from the opening whistle. Tompkins Cortland goalkeeper Nate Stuart (Fulton/G. Ray Bodley H.S.) was tested repeatedly, and more often than not was up to the challenge. In 65 minutes goal, the sophomore recorded 27 saves while allowing 7 goals. Riley Knapp (Trumansburg/Home Schooled) played the final 25 minutes in goal, posting 6 saves and allowing 6 goals.

Looking ahead

The Panthers return home after a week-long break for a Saturday, September 25 game against Jamestown Community College.
