Visiting Niagara County Community College finished its 2023 campaign with a 7-0 loss to Region III power and NJCAA Div. III No. 1-ranked Genesee Community College on Wednesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves ended the year with an overall record of 2-13-1. They were 1-11 in regional play with a forfeit victory over rival Erie Community College.
The T-Wolves were outshot 23-3 for the game, but did hold the high-powered Cougars to just two goals in the opening half. N-Trip sophomore Jacob Korte, a two-year starter and team leader, had two of the team's shots. He ended his season as the squad's leading scorer with five goals. Freshman goalkeeper Eric Garcia made seven saves in the loss. He ends the year with 48 saves in eight games played.
