Niagara County Community College picked up a pair of wins over visiting Genesee Community College in Region III action on Tuesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves moved to 10-12 overall and 6-2 in regional play. N-Trip returns to the diamond at 3 p.m. Thursday for a single game at rival Erie Community College.

Freshman pitcher Leah Bailey tossed a complete-game shutout. The righty allowed just four hits and struck out four to improve to 7-2 on the year. Sophomore Shelby Wolf was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBIs, while classmate Maggiemay Murrins finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs and sophomore Mariah Semple went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases.
Niagara CCC 11, Genesee CC 3 (5 inn.)
Semple was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs as the T-Wolves banged out 15 hits. Murrins was 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored and the sophomore trio of Sydnie Luckman, Sydney Sexton and Wolf contributed two hits and two RBIs apiece.
