Batavia, N.Y. - Herkimer won their 13th straight game on the road against Genesee CC. Guard Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) and forward Solomon Silas (Lagos, Nigeria) each had a double-double for Herkimer. Sophomore Guard Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) led Herkimer in scoring with 20 points. All five Herkimer Generals starters would score double digits in points in the victory over Genesee.
Other top scorers were guard Melad Daoud (Yonkers, NY) who had 19 points and forward Teshaun Beckles (Bronx, NY) with 16.
Herkimer will be on the road for their next game against Columbia-Greene CC on 1/18 at 7 pm. The Generals will be looking to win their 14th straight game.
