T-Wolves wrap up season at WNYAC Tournament

Niagara County Community College wrapped up its fall 2021 season with the annual Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament this past Saturday at Monroe Community College. 

The Thunderwolves dropped all four matches to finish the year with an overall mark of 2-13.

Jamestown CC 25-25, Niagara CCC 17-5

NCCC freshman Noor Kadhum had two kills, three digs and one ace in the loss. Classmate Jocelyn Swierski finished with six digs and fellow frosh Kaitlin Hoadley had six assists.

Monroe CC 25-25, Niagara CCC 11-12

Swierski racked up eight digs and Hoadley added seven assists in the setback. N-Trip freshman Marissa Dusza had three kills and a service ace.

Erie CC 25-25, Niagara CCC 15-21

Dusza accumulated seven digs and three aces in the narrow defeat. Hoadley chipped in with three assists and three digs and freshman Alyssa Winstanley had two blocks.

Genesee CC 25-25, Niagara CCC 19-12

Hoadley had a strong all-around performance with 11 digs, six assists and three services, but NCCC couldn't get into the win column. Swierski added five digs and sophomore Kim Norman had three digs and an ace.
