BATAVIA, NY… The department of intercollegiate athletics at Genesee Community College is announcing the 2019 schedule for women's volleyball. All home contests will take place inside the Anthony T. Zambito Gymnasium on the Batavia campus of Genesee Community College. Coached by first-year head coach Emilee Piechocki, the women's volleyball team is eager to begin the 2019 season.

The first game is their first home match of the season against Western New York Athletic Conference foe Erie Community College on Thursday, September 5 at 6pm. The Cougars have road games and pod play throughout the month of September with games at Jamestown, Hudson Valley, Monroe, Mercyhurst Northeast and at Finger Lakes CC to end the month.

The month of October will see Genesee travel to Herkimer for the Herkimer POD on October 5 before hosting single matches against Finger Lakes (October 10) and Niagara County Community College (October 15) before hosting their POD play on Saturday, October 19. The following Saturday will be the Western New York Athletic Conference tournament.

November 2 and 3 will be the NJCAA Region III Tournament. The following weekend will be the 2019 NJCAA Women's Volleyball National Championships in Rochester, Minnesota.
