CANANDAIGUA, NY… The offense was on a roll Wednesday afternoon as the no.7 Genesee Community College men's soccer team defeated the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers 15-0 in Canandaigua.

Ed Port and Peter Rystad each scored three goals to lead the Cougars offense. Port would have five assists in the contest as well. Ollie Ardle and James Lighton would score two goals each. Opeyemi Agosa, Jose Manoel Cavalini, Shahin Tahir Nasabi, Cameron Logan, and Shane McClurg each scored for the Genesee.

Marcus Kenline and Adam Willig split time in net to combine to earn the shutout for the Blue and Gold.

Genesee (11-3) is in action on Saturday, October 12 at Fulton-Montgomery CC. The Blue and Gold will return home for their regular-season home finale on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:30 pm against WNYAC foe Mercyhurst Northeast.
