No. 3 Men’s Soccer Team Records Largest Margin Win of the Season

The No. 3 Genesee Community College men's soccer team recorded a 15-0 shutout road win at Adirondack Oct. 14.

Five Cougars recorded multi-goal performances with Rodrigo Albuquerque leading the way with four goals and a 10-point afternoon.

Two goals came each from Hijiri Sano, Jack Sharman-Dodd, Camilo Pernet Jimenez and Ross White.

Rounding out the goal scoring was Robert Keogh, Matheus Araujo and Ed Port.

Hiago Barros de Souza led the team in assists with three; while a pair each came from Albuquerque, Sharman-Dodd and White.

Single assists went to Pernet Jimenez, Kyle McMillen, James Lighton and Port.

Matthies Meyer and Adrian Bergman split the shutout with each logging 45 minutes in net.

The men's soccer team continues on the road with its next matchup at Onondaga Oct. 17 with a 6:30 p.m. start.
