No. 3 Men’s Soccer Team Ends Regular Season by Extending Unbeaten Streak to Fifteen

The No. 3 Genesee Community College men's soccer team recorded its fourth-consecutive shutout with a 4-0 win at Broome Community College in the team's final regular-season match that extended the Cougars' current win streak to six games.

Genesee extended its unbeaten streak to 15 games and recorded shutout No. 10 of the season with four coming from the team's last four starts where they out-scored their opponents by a collective 28-0.

Sam Hall led the way against the Hornets with three goals, while current National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association D-III Men's Soccer Player of the Week Billy Murphy tallied the team's other score.

Earning assists for the Cougars were Ross White, Iyad Lablack and Charlie Livesey.

David Ormiston recorded 21 saves in the win according to Broome's statistics as the team enters regional playoffs with a 15-2-1 record.
