The Genesee Community College baseball team had six members named to the Western New York Athletic Conference's all-conference teams.

Named First Team All-WNYAC was Shannon Folkes, L'Shandry Kirindongo and Jakob MacLeod. Second Team selections from the Cougars included Zachery Zinck, Deion Rosalia and Tyler Prospero.

All six selections from Genesee were freshmen and represented nearly half of all the freshmen named to the 24-man combined first and second teams.

With all of Genesee selections being first-year players, the future looks promising for next season especially from the mound where one-third of all the pitchers named to the combined two teams were Cougars that include MacLeod, Zinck and Prospero.

Rosalia was selected as an infielder and MacLeod for his outfielding in addition to his pitching. Folkes was identified as both an infield and outfield selection.
