The women's volleyball team kept things rolling by sweeping POD play at the Flickinger Center on Saturday. Erie defeated Jamestown Community College in straight sets 25-10, 25-10 and 25-10 and then went 3-1 against Genesee Community College 25-19, 25-18, 26-24 and 25-16. The two victories extended the Kats win streak to five games and puts them at 11-3 on the season.
Standout players for the Kats were Molly McKinnon who led the day in Kills with 31 while also tallying 25 digs, Charlotte Mendel who had 15 kills and 16 digs and Delia Lake with 11 kills. Darion Jonathan had ten aces on the day. Emily Schlabach continues to play strong with 64 assists.
"This was the best we've played all year," said Coach Craig Starzynski. "Our offense is getting faster each week and we're playing great defense at the net."
Erie will look to increase it's win streak on Tuesday when they travel to Monroe Community College.
