The #8 Red Barons Men's basketball team finished their last week of games in the first semester 1-2, losing two in a row before rallying to win their last game before semester break.

Versus Genesee CC at home the Red Barons held a lead for the majority of the first half before being outscore 16-3 to close out the first 20 minutes of the play. The team would cut the lead down to 5 points twice in the second half but could never get closer as the Cougars eventually closed out the game 83-67. At Hudson Valley CC, again the men's basketball team was competitive in the first half overcoming a double digit deficit to cut the Viking lead to five at halftime. The Vikings used a 16-3 run to start the second half putting pressure on the Red Barons to play catch-up, despite the teams effort they couldn't get the deficit below 5 points and fell for the second straight game, 83-71. -Cameron Rhode scored 14 points in the effort.
