Women's volleyball defeated Genesee Community College 3-0 on Thursday. The Kats won 25-21, 25-17 and 25-19 behind strong play from freshman Courtney Fusco.
Playing in her first match of the season, in a new position, Fusco recorded five kills and two blocks. Natalie Ruhlmann led the team in blocks with 17 and Aurora Davis recorded five aces.
Erie will play on Saturday at 1:00 pm when they host Broome Community College at the Burt Flickinger Center.
