Panthers Head Into Winter Break with Loss

The Panthers men's basketball team is heading into the nearly month-long winter break on a down note, having dropped a 72-59 decision at Genesee Community College Tuesday. The Panthers now stand at 5-4 overall and 4-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Genesee improves to9-4 overall and 7-0 in the MSAC.

Damari Johnson (Binghamton/Johnson City H.S.) led the Panthers with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Joel Davis (Watertown/Watertown H.S.) just missed another double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Justin Peeples (Arlington, Penn. / Burlington County Institute of Technology West) added 9 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.

Looking ahead

The Panthers return to action on January 10 with a game at Monroe Community College.
