Niagara County Community College battled through injuries, but came out on the wrong end of a pair of Region III pod matches this past Saturday at Erie Community College. The Thunderwolves are now 1-12 overall and 0-10 in regional play. N-Trip steps out of conference for a road tilt at Genesee Community College on Tuesday. First serve is set for 6 p.m.

NCCC freshman Lilah Frerichs had five kills and three services aces, but it wasn't nearly enough in the straight-set loss to the T-Wolves' former conference rivals. Fellow frosh Allison Farley added four kills and two blocks and classmate Maggie Monachino had 15 assists in the loss.

NCCC freshman Juliana Levesque had a career-high seven kills, seven digs and three aces, but the Thunderwolves ran out of steam in the latter stages of the match. Monachino tallied 19 assists and three aces and Frerichs chipped in four kills, four digs and three blocks in the loss.
