The Women's Volleyball team traveled to Genesee Community College on Saturday for POD play. The Lady Raiders competed against Genesee, Monroe, and Finger Lakes.
The Lady Raiders defeated Genesee and Monroe in straight sets, but lost to Finger Lakes, 3-1.
FMCC vs. Genesee, 3-0 Win; 25-21, 25-12, 25-21
Madelyn Avery led with 12 digs and 11 kills. Sadie Blowers had 7 kills and 9 digs and Hailee Thompson with 6 kills. Deandra Myers had 12 digs and Krystal McSpirit with 4 kills. Aireana Muhlberger had 29 assists.
FMCC vs. Monroe, 3-0 Win; 25-19, 25-6, 25-8
Blowers and Myers led with 11 kills each. Alivia Wilson led with 17 digs and Muhlberger with 30 assists.
FMCC vs. Finger Lakes, 1-3 Loss; 23-25, 25-21, 13-25 & 22-25
Sadie Blowers had 14 kills and 8 digs. Avery followed with 13 kills and 13 digs. Muhlberger collected 35 assists in the loss.
The Lady Raiders next match will be on Wednesday, October 5th. They will host Mohawk Valley in the Raiders Den at 7:00 p.m.
