Morgan Mathis and JeAnna Paddock Sign Letters of Intent with Genesee Volleyball

BATAVIA, NY… Genesee Community College volleyball coach Emilee Piechocki signed two student-athletes to Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at Genesee Community College.

Morgan Mathis is coming to Genesee from North Collins Jr-Sr High School. The member of the Spanish Honor Society will be a Hospitality and Tourism major at Genesee in hopes to become an event planner. Mathis is an outside hitter who was a first team all-star and All-Western New York athlete. Her favorite moment during her athletic career was going to states for softball. Her role model is her dad and her favorite pregame meal is either pasta or subs.

JeAnna Paddock comes to Genesee from Clyde-Savannah Central School. The honor roll and principals list recipient will be majoring in Social Science and Human Services in hopes of becoming a social worker. Paddock is a three-sport athlete, playing softball and basketball as well as volleyball. She was a five-year second team All-Star in softball and served as team captain for all three sports. Her role models are her parents and her favorite pregame meal is chicken. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as boating and fishing.

The 2018 Cougars volleyball team finished the season with a record of 15-11 and competed at both the Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament and the NJCAA Region III Tournament.
