BATAVIA, NY… Lacrosse players Austin Palmer and Ashley Barclay were named Genesee Athletes of the Week for the week of April 1.
Austin Palmer scored five goals and added three assists in Genesee’s 30-3 victory over Mohawk Valley this past Saturday. On the season, Palmer has 10 goals and seven assists. The nationally ranked men’s lacrosse team travels to Howard Community College on Saturday to play the Dragons. Faceoff is at 12 noon.
Ashley Barclay scored two goals in Genesee’s 17-7 loss to CCBC Essex last Saturday afternoon. Barclay scored the first two goals of the season for the Cougars. The women’s lacrosse team looks for their first win of the season on Wednesday as they travel to Onondaga Community College. Faceoff is scheduled for 6pm.
