Genesee Community College continues to be the only D-III junior college to have two, top-three nationally-ranked soccer teams by virtue of national polls released today by the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association.
Both the men's and women's teams faced nationally-ranked Herkimer College last week with different results.
While the women's soccer team's loss to Herkimer bumped the team from No. 1 to No. 2, the men's soccer team's heroic performance in which they tied the contest in the game's final 20 seconds of regulation play allowed them to maintain their No. 3 standing.
