33 Named to Academic-All Conference Team

GCC players added to Academic All-Conference Team

The Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC) recently announced its list of student-athletes that achieved success in the classroom this past year, honoring the 2015-2016 WNYAC Academic All-Conference Team including 33 student-athletes from GCC.

Named Academic All-WNYAC from Genesee were:

Tarik Allicock (men’s basketball), Habib Balarabe (men’s soccer), Connor Barleben (baseball), Helen Busch (women’s golf), Brenna DeFelice (women’s soccer), Joseph DeFelice (baseball), Kayla Doyle (women’s soccer), Joseph Falkowski (men’s golf), Gabriella Garcea (women’s soccer), Reed Hnidy (men’s lacrosse), Hirano Ikuma (men’s soccer), Abagail Kamysz (women’s basketball), Kristi Knutson (women’s volleyball), Thais Matté (women’s basketball), Nicole Mauro (women’s soccer), Samuel Mburu (men’s soccer), Taylor Miller (women’s soccer), Kiyomi Nakakoji (women’s basketball), Kazuyuki Nakane (men’s soccer), Abigail Noeth (softball), Cassandra Pangrazio (softball), Claudia Passarell (women’s soccer), Jeanne Rivera (women’s soccer), Mitchell Robinson (men’s soccer), Kelsey Schmitt (women’s soccer/softball), Yu Shimizu (women’s volleyball), Brandon Stephens (baseball), Dan Telban (men’s lacrosse), Katlynne Tubo (women’s soccer), Adam Tucker (men’s golf), Drew VanBuren (women’s soccer), Danielle Wilshire (softball) and Jacob Wittmeyer.

Students must have maintained full-time status and accumulated a grade point average of 3.3 or better to be considered for academic all-conference.
