Cougars Batlle in loss to Kats

BATAVIA, NY... Women's Volleyball hit the court at home for a mtachup against Erie Community College's Kats on thursday night. Though the ladies fought hard, ultimately the Kats defeated the Cougars in four sets, 29-27, 25-21, 20-25 and 25-17. 

The first set would be a nail biter, going back and forth between the two teams. Ana Samear showed tremendous efforts, serving almost 10 straight times, helping the Cougars tie things up late in the set. The Kats would be the ones to prevail. 

After going down 2-0, the Cougars rallied together with offensive strikes and defensive mindset, taking the third set, 25-20. But the Kats would make a push late in the 4th set to win the match. 

The Cougars look to bounce back at Niagara CC, this saturday, October 5th for a POD against the Thunderwolves and a rematch against the Kats.
