The No. 8 Genesee Community College women's soccer team earned its third shutout of the season on Wednesday against Niagara County Community College with a 7-0 road win Sept. 12.
The win also extended the team's win streak to three games during which the Cougars have out-scored oppositions by a combined 15-3 score.
Nine different Cougars found the scoresheet with Katline Cartwright leading the way with a seven-point performance from three goals and one assist.
Diante Scheepers added a pair of goals, while single tallies cane from Miko Yamashita and Leah Czechowski.
Single assists were registered by Bri Heers, Mackenzie O'Brien, Julie Kommer, Michaela Curletta, Autumn Jeffery and Czechowski.
Jaclyn Guzdek recorded three saves to earn the clean sheet and third shutout this season.
Genesee next travels to Erie, Pa. to face Mercyhurst North East Sept. 14 at 2 p.m.
