SYRACUSE, NY… The Genesee Community College women's lacrosse team suffered a 23-1 loss to the nationally-ranked Onondaga Community College Lazers Wednesday night.

Ashley Barclay, reigning Genesee Female Athlete of the Week scored her third goal of the season with the assist coming to Hannah Kirisits. For Kirsitis, it was her fifth assist on the season and third assist going with a Barclay goal. Ryley O'Mara made nine saves between the pipes for Genesee.

The Cougars (0-2) are on the road Saturday as they travel to Proctor Stadium and play Mohawk Valley Community College.
