Cougars Fall on the Road to Thunderwolves

GCC falls to NCCC

SANBORN, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team came up short in their Mid-State Athletic Conference opener Wednesday night, falling to the Niagara County Community College Thunderwolves 105-73.  

Mackenzie Gratto led all scorers with 22 points and eight rebounds for the Cougars. Jillian Curtis added 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Genesee and Sara Kumamoto scored 13 points and had 6 assists.  

Genesee (2-2) returns to the hardwood on Friday night as they host Jamestown Community College. The opening tip is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
