Genesee Softball Signs Eveline Butlak to Letter of Intent

BATAVIA, NY… Genesee Community College Women's Softball coach Taylor Maurer signed Eveline Butlak to Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Genesee Community College.

Eveline Butlak is coming to Genesee from Lake Shore High School in Angola, NY where she was a pitcher of the Lake Shore Eagles. Eveline was the team MVP, receiving the team sportsmanship award, as well as earning 1st team all ECIC. She is looking to pursue a degree in Substance Abuse Counseling at Genesee.

Her favorite moment during her athletic career was winning the Caitlin Burgbige memorial tournament. Her role model is her dad and her favorite pregame meal is iced coffee and a doughnut.

The 2019 softball team finished the season with a record of 15-20 and played in the NJCAA Region III-A Championships.
