The No. 3 Genesee Community College men's soccer team kicks off its season with a home matchup against Mercer County Community College Saturday, Aug. 26 at 12 p.m.

The Cougars fell to eventual national champion Richland (TX) in the semifinals last year before finishing as one of the top three teams in the nation in 2016 NJCAA Division III play.

Mercer County CC (West Windsor, NJ) finished 9-6-2 last season that included a 1-0 loss in Region XIX's semifinals against Harcum College (Bryn Mawr, PA).
