Men's Basketball Falls Short in Close Battle Against SUNY Broome

In a tightly contested game, Genesee came up just short against SUNY Broome, falling 80-77 at home. Carlos Perez led the Cougars with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal, while Damont Hanton added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Jamai Jackson provided a strong presence off the bench with 10 points and 7 rebounds.
Despite shooting 47.2% from the field, the Cougars struggled from deep, hitting just 2-of-18 three-pointers and converting 41.2% from the free-throw line.
