HENRIETTA, NY… The no.10 nationally ranked Genesee Community College men's basketball team suffered their first loss since early November on Thursday night, falling to NJCAA Division II #18 Monroe Community College 76-57. The loss against the Tribunes ended Genesee's 12-game winning streak.
Rayvon Weir led the way offensively for Genesee, scoring 27 points for the blue and gold. Elijah Gonzalez scored six points, as Wayne Longmore, Zak Rushdan, and CJ McCullum each scoring five points apiece.
Genesee will be on the road on Saturday, with a noon tipoff at Columbia-Greene CC.
