Cater finished with a 119, while Coons carded a 78 that was just a stroke ahead of a pair of golfers from the tournament's host school – SUNY Adirondack, who took first overall as a team with a 327 score.

The Cougars finished fifth, but just six strokes away from runner-up to Adirondack. Joining Genesee and Adirondack in the field were Niagara County Community College, Onondaga Community College, Hudson Valley Community College, Mohawk Valley Community College, Tompkins-Cortland Community College and Springfield Tech Community College (Mass,).

Joseph Calvert finished second on Genesee's team score with an 83, and was followed by Evan Kerl's 87 and Kevin Geesler's 91 to comprise the Cougars' team score of 339. Also participating for Genesee was Dakota Dillon (93) and Matthew McCoy (107).

Genesee followed the April 21 tournament at Queensbury by hosting a tri-event with Jamestown Community College and Niagara County Community College the following day at Batavia Country Club April 22.

In the latter event, Coons again led all Cougar golfers with an 87 that allowed him to finish in the top-10 in a tie for eighth overall.
