Genesee’s Prospero Commits to Niagara University

BATAVIA, NY…  Genesee baseball player Tyler Prospero is continuing his baseball career as he as committed to NCAA Division I Niagara University.

The Batavia, NY native and 2016 graduate of Batavia-Notre Dame will be sure to make an impact for the Purple Eagles, as they compete in the tough Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).  “I am very happy for Tyler”, commented Genesee Head Coach Skip Sherman. “He has worked so hard to get this point both on the field and off and he has proven that hard work will always pay off. His leadership has been second to none”, Sherman added.

Prospero went 6-0 in his freshman season, while having a 5.19 ERA. Prospero was named to the Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC) Second-Team.
